A heat pump is one of the most energy-efficient heating and cooling system available today. The costs (energy) to heat your house can be reduced up to 60%. In addition, heat pumps can also provide you with air conditioning.

How does a Heat Pumps Work?

A heat pump is designed to move heat from one location to another. The outdoor coil of the heat pump absorbs heat from the outside air and transfers it to your home. In hot weather the heat pump operates in reverse to provide cooling. It transfers heat from within your home to the outdoors. An air-sourced heat pump, in heating mode, can operate with an outdoor air temperature as low as -18°C as the refrigerant used is much cooler and will absorb the available heat.
